<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user of a printer to easily change a destination of an electronic mail set in a control server. <P>SOLUTION: The printer in the invention acquires an inputted mailing condition as mailing condition information, and stores the mailing condition in a mailing condition storage section. The printer notifies the control server of monitoring information on an operation condition of the printer, and also notifies the control server of the mailing condition information stored in the mailing condition storage section with predetermined timing. The mailing condition is performed when the control server compose and sends an electronic mail, and comprises: at least one specified event out of those events on operating conditions of the printer; and the destination mail address of the mail to be sent when the specified event is created in the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
