PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a distance between a cutter unit and a work rest by an inexpensive and compact mechanism. SOLUTION: The work rest 13 comprises: a body frame 15; a pair of openable/closable clampers 18 turned around a pair of supporting shafts 17 journaled to the body frame 15; a hydraulic cylinder for opening/closing the clampers 18; and a moving means for moving the clampers 18 in the axial direction of the supporting shafts 17.
