PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unbulky fishing spool convenient to carry. SOLUTION: This spool comprises a 1st spool part 11 having a short cylindrical part 14 to be reeled with a fishline around the outer circumference thereof, a 2nd spool part 12 having a short cylindrical part 25 to be reeled with the fishline around the outer circumference thereof and coaxially and retractilely accommodated into the inside of the short cylindrical part 14 of the 1st spool part 11, and a rotation supporting part 13 with such a construction that the 1st and 2nd spool parts are relatively rotatable in its accommodated state. In this spool, the rotation supporting part 13 is composed of a shaft 18 provided at one of the 1st and 2nd spool parts and a shaft hole 29 provided at the other, the shaft 18 and the shaft hole are engaged with each other in an accommodated state and the rotation supporting part 13 has a stopper 22 inhibiting the disengagement. The 2nd spool part 12 has a flange-shaped end plate 27 on the end outer circumference and the end plate 27 is furnished with a fishline fastening part for fastening the drawn end of a fishline 33 reeled around the 2nd spool part 12.
