<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic touchscreen in which an array of focusing-shaped acoustically reflective elements are arranged so as to transmit or receive acoustic signals to or from a touch detection area. <P>SOLUTION: The touchscreen constituted by having a substrate capable of propagating acoustic waves having a touch detection area and the array of acoustically reflective elements lying in or on the substrate, in which reflective array elements having a focusing shape are arranged by forming an angle to an array axis and constituted so that the acoustic signals are transmitted to the touch detection area or received after passing the touch detection area is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
