<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a plurality of light waveguide means and being capable of driving at each light waveguide means. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 comprises a light-emitting means 2 for emitting light, in response to prescribed display data, a long light waveguide means 3 guiding light made incident from the light-emitting means 2, and a display panel P having an addressing means 4 extracting the light from a prescribed part in the light waveguide means 3, in response to the prescribed display data. The addressing means 4 includes a row electrode 42 installed individually at each of a plurality of the light waveguide means 3, and a plurality of long line electrodes 41 installed so as to be intersect on the reverse side of the row electrode 42 via the light waveguide means 3 and emits light from a prescribed part by applying voltage at a part intersecting the row electrode 42 with the line electrode 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
