PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain increase in the power generation output of a power generator, by suppressing the generation of noise, without generating the problem regarding its lifetime. SOLUTION: The power generation apparatus 1 includes a generator 2 and an engine 3 for driving this generator 2. The generator 2 has a first rotor 9 for supporting a magnet 8 to support it rotatively about an axial center 7, and a second rotor 11 supported rotatively about the axial center 7, to support a power-generating coil 10 facing the magnet 8. The engine 3 rotatively drives the first rotor 9 in one direction A about the axial center 7 and rotatively drives the second rotor 11, in a direction B opposite to the one direction A about the axial center 7; and cooling fans 68, 69, interposed between the engine 3 and the first, second rotors 9 and 11 and coupled cooperatively with the engine 3 are provided to energize air.
