PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash register device for automatically performing any labor to check the number of types of merchandise or its accessory articles and the calculation of charge accompanied with this. SOLUTION: This cash register device is configured by installing a mounting stand 15 and a cash register device main body 14 in a carrier 13, and installing a reading device 17 of a data carrier 1 arranged in a storage body 2 of merchandise such as sushi in the mounting stand 15, and connecting an I/O port forming an output means to the cash register device main body 14 to the reading device 17. Thus, the storage body 2 is mounted on the mounting stand 15 so that the information of the data carrier 1 can be read by the reading device 17, and that a charged sum or the like can be automatically calculated. As a result, a receipt 19A can be issued, and the fare adjustment of accounts can be operated by the side of a customer.
