PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller capable of surely preventing a mechanical key from being ejected even if an impact or the like is applied from outside. SOLUTION: The remote controller comprises a main body case 1 with a built-in remote control circuit, the mechanical key turnably housed in a housing chamber 1d of the case 1 and a cap 3 which is engaged/disengaged with/from the main body 1 by slide movement along the top face of a base part 1a and prevents the mechanical key 2 from being ejected. The cap 3 is provided with a stopper member 4 capable of reciprocating in the direction perpendicular to the direction of engaging/disengaging the cap 3 and a coil spring 5 urging the stopper member 4 to the top face side of the base part 1a. The stopper member 4 is made to collide against the right side face S of a protrusion 1b provided on the top face of the base part 1a to form a locking state wherein the cap 3 is prevented from moving in the disengaging direction. The stopper member 4 is moved from a position in which the stopper 4 is in contact with the right side face S to a position in which the stopper 4 is separated from the right side face S through a knob part 4c to form an unlock state wherein the cap 3 is allowed to move in the disengaging direction.
