PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner capable of effectively removing stain adhering to the surface of a cooking utensil, etc. SOLUTION: The cleaner has a convex 13 formed on a base 11 which is not easily deformed when pressed by hand, and a cleaning layer 15 is mounted on the convex 13. The cleaning layer 15 is detachable from the base 11. As the cleaning layer is mounted on the convex of the base which is not easily deformed when pressed by hand, only a narrow part maintained in the state of convex of the cleaning layer is pressed and rubbed on the surface of the cooking utensil, etc. As a result, the force of the user's hand is converged locally on the narrow part maintained in the state of convex of the cleaning layer, so that stain adhering to the surface of the cooking utensil, etc. can be effectively removed.
