An assembly removes surface particles such as scale, metal residues or paint from the surface of a roller or drum. The assembly consists of two parallel arrays of fluid cleaning jets on beams suspended at their ends via twin forks by a lifting eye. The cleaning jets are closely associated with matching suction pipes.
