<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To joint the glass base plate for liquid crystal display panel to the film base plate of TAB tape with excellent adhesion to the glass base plate so that an anisotropically conductive jointing material may scarcely remain on the jointed face of the glass base plate, when it is peeled off for repairing after being jointed. SOLUTION: The joint material 1 applied to the jointing face 13a of the film base plate 13 mainly is composed mainly of a binder as a mixture of copolymer insulating resin bearing functional groups reactive with epoxy groups and an epoxy groups-free condensation reaction type thermosetting resin and an electroconductive particles 4 dispersed in the binder. The jointing auxiliary material 2 applied to the jointing face 11a of the glass base plate 11 is an epoxy group-containing copolymer crosslinking agent. When they are bonded by thermocompression, the copolymer insulating resin and the copolymer crosslinking agent cross-link to each other to form the crosslinked copolymer layer 5 and simultaneously the condensation reaction type curing resin is thermoset.</p> |
