The heat exchanger, and especially a vehicle motor oil cooler (1), has stacked flat tubes (2-4) with passage openings for the oil inflow (6) and outflow (7). The tubes are extruded multi-chamber tubes, with rib corrugations (5) to increase their surface areas. Gaps between the tubes give flow channels for a coolant.
