The device is assembled of an upper (26, 30) and a lower rectangular frame (10) joined with hinges (24) at the back. A water mattress covered with a washable layer of neoprene and resting on an air cushion is accommodated inside the lower frame (10). The upper frame (26) is provided with transversally positioned elastic straps (28) which can be adjusted longitudinally (36). The hinges (24) can be adjusted in height keeping the animal safely positioned between the two panels (10, 26).
