PURPOSE: A high performance fuel cell using a liquid fuel containing sodium borohydride is provided, which improves output performance, prevents the performance of the fuel cell from being lowered, and extends a lifetime. CONSTITUTION: The fuel cell comprises an air electrode, an electrolyte put in an electrolyte container, and a fuel electrode and uses the liquid fuel containing 10-40wt% of the sodium borohydride(NaBH4) dissolved in 100wt% of an alkali water solution having a pH of more than 11. The electrolyte is an alkali water solution having a pH of more than 13 or an anionic polymer separator. |
