METHOD FOR DETERMINING AND MONITORING THE QUALITY OF CUTTING PAPER AND CARDBOARD

The proposed method for determining and monitoring the quality of cutting paper and cardboard in producing polygraphic and packing articles consists in scanning the cut edge of the paper or cardboard, forming the digital picture of the cut by a computer, determining the averaged height of the cut irregularities relative to the lowest point of the cut, and estimating the quality of the cutting by the height of the said irregularities.
