A cartridge for smooth-bore arms has a shell, a capsule-initiator and a missile. The missile is arranged as a cylindrical body in which in sequence are installed a nozzle washer, a diaphragm with gas ducts and side nozzles, an insertion of brown gun powder (BGP), a retardation mix, a knock-out charge and a pyro-element; at that openings are provided in the body of the charge for connection to the gas ducts and the side nozzles of the diaphragm with the BGP insertion.
