A method for control of safety of cargoes on the railway includes the calculation of load, which is transported, moreover, the railway stations are preliminarily assigned, at which the weight checkpoints are created, which are equipped with weight measuring systems, the mass of load is assigned in accordance with the accompanying documents, further on each weight checkpoints by means of the weight measuring systems the weighing of load in the railroad cars in the motion is achieved, and the results of each weighing is compared with assigned value and in case of deviation of values the fact of theft of cargo is stated at the section between adjacent weight checkpoints, which is immediately notified to the law enforcement authorities of the railroad, in this case, the results of measurement are transferred consecutively to the weight gage systems in the direction of motion of the train.
