TECHNIQUE FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CONTRACTURES IN ELBOW JOINT

The technique for the surgical treatment of the contractures in the elbow joint comprises arthrolysis and transosteal fixation of the shoulder and the forearm with the apparatus of the external fixation and flexion-extension device. The segments of the upper limb are fixed with the aid of the support beams, which are displaced asymmetrically in the vertical plane. The kinematics of the physiological movements in the elbow joint is performed with the aid of the arched threaded rod. The adjustment nuts are passed along the rod from its both sides governed by the hinge. The distraction device provides for the distraction at the level of the elbow joint.
