PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSFORMER

The proposed piezoelectric transformer contains a piezoelectric element shaped as a parallelepiped and three groups of electrodes. The input electrodes, which belong to the first group, are arranged at the sides of the piezoelectric element that are parallel to the polarization vector. The output electrodes, which belong to the second group, are arranged at the sides of the piezoelectric element that are perpendicular to the polarization vector. The electrodes of the third group are arranged at the sides that are perpendicular to the sides with the electrodes of the first and the second groups. The electrodes of the second group and the third group are connected to each other and the output terminal of the piezoelectric transformer.
