The method for modeling the focal cortical epilepsy provides for intraperitoneal administration of compound blocking GABA inhibition followed by recording electrocorticogram. Sodium salt of benzyl penicillin is used as a substance blocking GABA inhibition at a dose 280 000-300 000 IU per 100 g of body mass of experimental animals.
