<p>Crosslinkable polymer composition in the form of an aqueous dispersion or water-redispersible powder based on (A) a copolymer with epoxide groups also contains (B) non-copolymerisable compound(s) with at least two epoxide groups. Crosslinkable polymer compositions in the form of aqueous dispersions or redispersible powder, containing (A) a copolymer of (a1) vinyl esters of 1-18C optionally branched alkane-carboxylic acids, (meth)acrylate esters of optionally branched 1-15C alcohols, dienes, olefins, vinyl-aromatics and vinyl halides with (a2) 0.1-10 wt% unsaturated, epoxide group-containing comonomer(s) and (B) non-copolymerisable compound(s) with at least two epoxide groups. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of these compositions by the emulsion polymerisation of comonomers as above followed optionally by drying the dispersion of epoxide-containing copolymer (A) in presence of protective colloid(s), with the addition of compound(s) (B) before, during or after polymerisation.</p> |
