The steering has a valve body (3) controlled by a stepper motor (10) and selectively sending hydraulic fluid towards chambers of a power cylinder of a case (2). The valve body is separated from a steering column (9) and is directly coupled on the chambers. A line (8) has a conduit to supply the fluid from a reservoir (4) to the body, and a conduit to return the fluid from the valve body to the reservoir.
