<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a happy or sad occasion note preparation device which can more easily prepare invitations for a reception in accordance with a user's taste, and also provide a happy or sad occasion note preparation method, a happy or sad occasion note preparation program, a program storage medium and a happy or sad occasion note preparation system. <P>SOLUTION: A title, a greeting sentence, a report on a marriage and a reception invitation sentence are divided into a plurality of blocks, and a plurality of expression-different sentences preliminarily set in each block are prepared to connect to sentences in front and back blocks. By this, consistency in the whole sentence of the invitation sentence can be maintained even if a user optionally selects a sentence for each block.
