<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device with a built-in ETC on-vehicle instrument dispensing with a troublesome manual operation, and capable of preventing omission of insertion and taking-out of an ETC card, by detecting existence of the ETC card corresponding to a power source operation of a vehicle and opening/closing a monitor. <P>SOLUTION: This navigation device with the built-in ETC on-vehicle instrument has a constitution wherein the openable/closable monitor is provided, an insertion opening for the ETC card is provided when the monitor is opened, existence of the ETC card is detected corresponding to the power source operation of the loaded vehicle, and the monitor is opened/closed corresponding to the detection result, to thereby urge a driver to insert or take out the ETC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
