SURFACE MOUNTING THIN-TYPE CAPACITOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax the oxidation deterioration of a conductive polymer. SOLUTION: A surface mounting thin-type capacitor uses an aluminum foil 10 composed of an aluminum core 11 and etched layers 12 coating both surfaces of the aluminum core as a base material. In the capacitor, resist resins 13 formed on boundaries among anodes at both ends of the aluminum foil 10 and cathodes (15 and 16) formed on a surface at the central section of the aluminum foil 10 are formed so as to interrupt the etched layers 12 on the anode side and conductive polymer layers 14. When parts 14a of the conductive polymer layers 14 creep up and are formed on the resist resins 13, the resist resins 17 are formed again so as to coat the creeping-up sections 14a of the conductive polymer layers 14.
