PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fine flakes which contain no foreign matter such as iron pieces and are suitable for recycling by shredding wallpaper. SOLUTION: A wallpaper shredding system is provided with: a first shredder 1 for coarsely shredding the wallpaper; a magnetic separator 3 for removing the iron pieces mingled in the flakes of coarsely shred wallpaper; a second shredder 4 for finely shredding the flakes from which the iron pieces are removed; a tubular connection part 9 which connects the discharging port of the first shredder 1 and the charging port of the second shredder 4 via the magnetic separator 3; and a blower 6 which produces wind force for sending the wallpaper flakes coarsely shred by the first shredder 1 to the second shredder 4 via the connection part 9. By attracting the iron pieces from coarsely shred wallpaper flakes, the iron pieces which has not yet become too small can be easily removed. The flakes are dried by frictional heat produced in the first shredder 1 and wind force of the blower 6 to facilitate separation of the iron pieces from the flakes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
