PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ease of use by efficiently acquiring the address information of a transmission destination. SOLUTION: The communication device comprises a search key reception section 103 for receiving a search key for inquiring the address information of a transmission destination, an address information acquisition section 105 for acquiring address information that is searched based on the search key from a directory server, a search result storage 121 for temporarily storing the acquired address information, a narrowing-down section 107 for allowing the search key reception section 103 to receive a search key that a user inputted further as a narrow-down key and further narrowing down address information stored in the search result storage region 121, and a display unit 15 for displaying the narrowed-down address information.
