PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the balance of a vibrating system collapses due to the weight of a lead wire itself to cause a rolling phenomenon and distortion occurs in a reproduced sound. SOLUTION: An oval speaker device is provided with a diaphragm 3 in which the external circumferential shape in a plan view is oval or ellipse, a voice coil bobbin 26 having cross sectional shape of oval or ellipse and attached on the diaphragm 3, a voice coil 21 wound around this voice coil bobbin 26, and a pair of lead wires 23, 24 to be connected to this voice coil 21. In this speaker device, connection points P1, P2 of the pair of lead wires 23, 24 to the voice coil 21 are set so as to be line symmetry on a long diameter axis J1 or a short diameter axis J 2 of the voice coil bobbin 26.
