摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence light source apparatus that can provide illumination with good efficiency while multiplexing light beams with a plurality of wavelengths and is compact. SOLUTION: The fluorescence light source apparatus has: a composite prism 1 which has a prism 1a having at least two reflecting surfaces 1a<SB>2</SB>and 1a<SB>3</SB>, the reflecting surface 1a<SB>3</SB>being a dichroic surface, and a prism 1c having at least two reflecting surfaces 1c<SB>2</SB>and 1c<SB>3</SB>, the reflecting surface 1c<SB>3</SB>being a dichroic surface, and which is configured to project light beams incident from a plurality of different directions one over the other on the same optical axis; a plurality of light emitting diodes 2a, 2b, and 2c which are arranged facing the respective incidence surfaces 1a<SB>1</SB>, 1b<SB>1</SB>, and 1c<SB>1</SB>of the composite prism 1 and emit light beams of different wavelengths to the corresponding incidence surfaces of the composite prism 1; and a plurality of collimation optical systems 3a, 3b, and 2c which are arranged between the light emitting diodes and the incidence surfaces of the composite prism 1.
