PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having proper operability of a rotational operation member, provided to the exterior surface, and capable of protecting the rotational operation member from impacts, such as falling. SOLUTION: A camera 1 which is electronic equipment is constituted so that it has a front cover 2, a middle cover 3 and a rear cover 4 which incorporate a lens frame unit, a battery chamber, an LCD unit 8, a main capacitor, a sub-substrate, a main substrate in which a media slot is mounted, etc., so that a revolving dial 20 is arranged in a projected state on a left upper edge part 3v of the middle cover 3. A left upper projected part 3c of the middle cover 3 projects above the outside diameter of the revolving dial 20, the left end surface 3s of the middle cover 3 is also at the same position or at the outside of the outer diameter of the revolving dial 20 and has arrangement structure of a camera exterior, to which impacts, such as falling, is unlikely to act on the revolving dial 20.
