PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an proper amount of lubricating oil inside of a compressor in a refrigeration cycle device. SOLUTION: The compressor 1 of the refrigeration cycle device is composed of a scroll-type compressing mechanism 4 for a refrigerant, a housing 2 for sealing the scroll type compressing mechanism 4, and storing a mixture liquid of lubricating oil and liquid refrigerant on its bottom part 2b, and a temperature measuring means S1 for detecting a level of the mixture liquid 31 in the housing 2. Further this refrigeration cycle device comprises a lubricating oil returning means for returning the lubricating oil flowing out from the compressor 1 to the housing 2, and a control part C for controlling the lubricating oil returning operation by the lubricating oil returning means on the basis of the detected level of the mixture liquid 31 in the housing 2.
