PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping-force adjustable damper, in which the damping force (torque) is simply adjustable. SOLUTION: An elastic body (piston 4) putting contact pressure on a casing C is installed in the casing C. A shaft (piston rod 5) is thrusted into the elastic body, and pinching members 6, 7 are provided on both sides of the elastic body. A nut 8 is fit on at least one side of the pinching member. By turning the nut, the space between the pinching members is adjusted to control the contact pressure of the electric body to the casing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
