PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce frequency of maintenance by improving lubricating performance in a roller bearing equipped with a retainer. SOLUTION: The roller bearing 10 is provided with an inner ring 12 having a raceway surface on an outer circumference surface, an outer ring 13 having a raceway surface on an inner circumference surface, a plurality of rollers rollably put in track defined between the raceway surfaces, and a retainer 20 including a plurality of column part 28 arranged at positions to arrange each roller 11 equally in a circumference direction of the track, and has a pocket surface 40a rollably retaining the roller 11 formed on the plurality of column parts 28. A lubricant reservoir part 30 composed of a recess part is formed on the pocket surface 40a and lubricant 50 is filled in the lubricant reservoir part 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
