The seat has a support structure for a seat cushion, and a pressure compressor for a ventilation channel. An air manifold channel (7) is extended approximately parallel and adjacent to a ventilation section and/or the cushion cover. The ventilation channel and the air manifold channel are connected by separate air duct units (6a-6c) that are formed like pipes or hoses. An independent claim is also included for a process of producing a cushion for a seat or a backrest for an automobile seat.
