DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE OF HYBRID VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore negative pressure for braking operation without restarting an internal combustion engine when the negative pressure for the brake operation is insufficient during electric driving to stop the internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle constituted so that the drive control device has the internal combustion engine and the electric motor as a driving source, and a vacuum pump generating the negative pressure for the brake operation is driven by accompanying with the rotation of the internal combustion engine.

SOLUTION: When the negative pressure for the brake operation is insufficient during electric driving, the drive control device cranks the internal combustion engine by connecting to a wheel driving system, controls the output of the electric motor so as to compensate cranking friction torque of the internal combustion engine by the electric motor or cranks the internal combustion engine with a starter.
