<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel in which occurrence of a display defect caused by a domain is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 10 is equipped with an upper glass substrate 21, a lower glass substrate 28, a liquid crystal layer 25 disposed between the upper glass substrate 21 and the lower glass substrate 28, and black masks 12 formed on a surface of the upper glass substrate 21 opposite to the lower glass substrate 28 so as to extend only in a direction of -45° to +45° with respect to a longitudinal direction of a liquid crystal molecule in the center of the liquid crystal layer 25 and separated from one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
