<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooking device capable of correctly detecting the temperature of a pan put on a top plate. <P>SOLUTION: This induction heating cooking device comprises a heating coil 3 for heating a pan 1, a top plate 2 arranged over the heating coil 3 and on which the pan 1 is put, infrared ray detecting means 5 arranged under the top plate 2 to detect infrared ray radiated from the bottom surface of the pan 1, temperature detecting means 9 for detecting the temperature of the bottom surface of the pan 1 from an output of the infrared ray detecting means 5, control means 10 for controlling electric power to be supplied to the heating coil 3 according to the output of the temperature detecting means 9 and shielding means 6 arranged over the top plate 2, wherein the shielding means 6 acts to inhibit the infrared ray not from the pan 1 to enter into the infrared ray detecting means 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
