PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident by casting aside a driver's insecurity at the time of traveling on a curve and to prevent the driver's misconception based on a virtual road display. SOLUTION: When an image is displayed so as to overlap with an actual scene visually confirmable through a window 1100 when seen from the driver of a vehicle, a curve ahead of the road in which the vehicle is traveling is detected, and a dead angle which the driver cannot directly visually confirm due to an obstacle 210 present on the inside of the curve is detected. Shape data of the road present in the dead angle are extracted from preliminarily stored map data, a virtual road image 200 showing the road present in the dead angle is generated based on the shape data, and the virtual road image 200 is displayed in a position overlapping with the obstacle so as to be recognizable as the actual scene.
