PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a contents distribution system capable of defining a user accessing addition data embedded in contents even though the contents are given to others or copied or the like. SOLUTION: A contents distribution site 1a uses a watermark embedding part 4a to embed a self-mail address Ci from a user terminal 3a and the URL (uniform resource locator) of attached contents for providing contents (addition data) attached to contents data of a received contents name Ai in contents data Di of the received contents name Ai and transmits this contents data La to the user terminal 3a through a communication network 2. The user terminal 3a uses a watermark reading part 5a to read the self-mail address of the contents data and the URL of the attached contents and transmits them to the self-mail address by itself.
