PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas warning device the parts of which has little portion to be exposed to indoors, that can be made compact, and the gas detection elements of which can be replaced easily. SOLUTION: The gas warning device X is constituted of a cylindrical sensor body 1, which is provided with at least gas detection elements, and a cylindrical base body 2, provided with at least one part of a power supply circuit and is built in a construction body, such as a ceiling panel or wall paneling; the sensor body 1 is removably installed in the direction of the construction body on the base body 2, and the base body 2 mechanically holds the sensor body 1 using an engaging projection 18; and the base body 2 has a mounting part 17, which is constituted of hole parts to electrically connect pin-shaped terminals 12 in the side of the sensor body 1 with receiving terminals in the side of a partition wall 201 via arc-shaped holes 22.
