摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, capable of correcting the luminance variations of a display panel at duplicate scanning mode, which is bright and moreover, which has high luminance uniformity, at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a multiple simultaneous selection driving method which drives drives image display device so as to simultaneously select a plurality of scan wirings in one selection period and to select a plurality of scan wirings, shifted from a set of scan wirings selected in the previous selection period for one scan wiring in the following selection period, multiple simultaneous selection drive is not performed, a correction value, calculated in a driving method for selecting the scan wirings one by one, is preliminarily stored in a memory and a modulation signal is outputted, based on a correction display signal corrected by using a correction value by updating the correction value by a predetermined period so as to compensate for the error in the luminance generated in the multiple simultaneous selection drive.
