PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of inhibiting the enlargement of a device and improving cooling and heating efficiency. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 10 comprises an indoor heat exchanger 3 mounted in an indoor unit 10b, an outdoor heat exchanger 6 mounted in an outdoor unit 10a, and a receiver tank 4 mounted in the indoor unit 10b and connected to the indoor heat exchanger 3 on a downstream side of a refrigerant in heating operation.
