PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device which spouts and cuts off water by pressing a push button, and positively prevents the breakage of the push button even if a pulling force different from pressing operation is applied to the push button by mischief, erroneous operation, or the like. SOLUTION: The faucet device switches a cutoff state and a spouting state by opening and closing an on-off valve, and includes a faucet body, the on-off valve mounted on the faucet body, the push button mounted on the faucet body to set the faucet body in the cutoff state by closing the on-off valve and to set the faucet body in the spouting state by opening the on-off valve at every pressing operation, and a breakage preventing means arranged between the rear surface of the push button and the faucet body, for preventing the push button from breaking. The breakage preventing means is formed of a first engaging means arranged on the rear surface of the push button, and a second engaging means arranged on the faucet body, and when a pulling force different from the pressing operation is applied to the push button, the first engaging means engages with the second engaging means.
