PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly take out the cut-out portion of a workpiece above the workpiece by horizontally holding the cut-out portion of the workpiece so as not to tilt its posture. SOLUTION: A taking-out head 4 is provided in order to take-out the cut-out portion of the workpiece from the body of the workpiece by holding the cut-out portion. The taking-out head 4 has an attracting means composed of a plurality of permanent magnets 5 for attracting the cut-out portion of the workpiece, and a member 4a for preventing the movement of the workpiece. Sliding mechanisms 6 are provided so as to independently protrude and withdraw the respective permanent magnets from the member for preventing the movement of the workpiece. Further, a means is provided in order to select one or a plurality of permanent magnets only, which are necessary for attracting the cut-out portion only of the workpiece in accordance with its shape. The cut-out portion of the workpiece is held by means of the selected one or a plurality of permanent magnets at one or a plurality of points, and then taken out from the body of the workpiece while horizontally keeping the posture of the cut-out portion of the workpiece.
