PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of a cosmetic composition for treating a keratin material especially a human keratin fiber in the skin, hair or the like, and a method for cosmetically treating the keratin material therewith. SOLUTION: The process of the cosmetic composition for treating the keratin material, comprises a step to allow a fluid containing at least steam to permeate into at least one kind of ester in solid or paste condition, at 0.3 MPa (3 bar) or more. The method for cosmetically treating the keratin material, comprises a step to apply the composition manufactured in the above method to the keratin material by an operator or a device which require no operator intervention.
