The invention relates to a method for cooling electric coils, in particular by means of a novel cooling method in order to improve heat rejection in MRT devices. According to the invention, an electric coil comprises a cooling system, the cooling system comprises a heat dissipation device which is provided with a fluid (2) and a tempered reservoir (6) of said fluid (2), and the coil is coupled to the tempered reservoir (6) by means of the fluid (2), and the reservoir (6) is temperature-regulated in such a manner that the temperature and the pressure of the fluid (2) is maintained in the immediate vicinity of the critical point of the fluid (2). |
