<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for attaching a membrane to a multi-well plate for inhibiting cross contamination by attaching a filter material to the plate, without using a chemical adhesive which subliminally contaminates adhesion bond. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane 3 is attached by thermal adhesion to the substrate 1, wherein the substrate is including the upper surface, lower surface, and through hole receptacles 2, and the membrane is porous support structure linked with polymer gel. The thermal adhesive bonding between the membrane and the substrate comprises the following processes: the process of inserting the mandrel 4 into the receptacle; the process of disposing the membrane on the substrate across the receptacle; the process of heating the membrane and the substrate; and the process of cooling the substrate and realizing thermal adhesive bonding to each other, between the substrate and the membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
