<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running torque direction finding device of brushless motor for finding a running direction at low cost and with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A running torque direction finding device of a brushless motor includes a resolver that generates two kinds of sine wave signals extending from positive to negative or vice versa having a predetermined phase difference depending on the rotation of a brushless motor, an electrical angle computing means for computing an electrical angle of the brushless motor in accordance with the sine wave signals, an electric current detecting means for detecting motor currents flowing through each phase of the brushless motor, and a running torque direction finding means for finding torque directions in which the brushless motor is to rotate, by comparing motor currents with electrical angles being in a predetermined angle region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
