<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize recording and reproduction and to improve density by reliably setting the contact between a magnetic tape and a magnetic head to a prescribed positional relationship. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a magnetic head mechanism 62 in which a magnetic head chip 61 in which a plurality of magnetic head elements are arranged making the width direction of a magnetic tape 51 as a track width direction is arranged at the front part. Fixed guide bodies 90 each constituting part of a magnetic tape guiding means are arranged at the front and rear sides of a tape travelling direction with the magnetic head chip 61 held therebetween. The accuracy of the setting position of this guide body is improved by integrally constituting the structute of the fixed guide bodies 90 and the magnetic head chip, and the setting accuracy of the lap angle of the magnetic tape 51 relative to the magnetic head chip 61 by the fixed guide body 90 is improved, thereby reliably setting the positional relationship between the magnetic tape and the magnetic head to the prescribed relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
