PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding plate for preventing feces harm with which blackout accidents caused by bird feces and breakage accident of insulators can be prevented effectively without spoiling rain-washing effect of the insulators by rainfalls. SOLUTION: This is the shielding plate 10 for preventing feces harm which is detachably installed at the upper part in the perpendicular direction of the insulator 20, and this is provided with a discoid shielding plate main body 30 having a larger diameter than that of the insulator 20, and at least one of a rainwater supply passage 31 which is installed penetrating the shielding plate main body 30 and which circulates the rainwater.
